How would you like to make a water service pipe sound?

The power amplifier IC is a convenient device for this purpose because it produces a sound when it is connected to any input terminal.

When you finish assembling the circuit, turn the control volume fully clockwise then turn it back slowly in the opposite direction. You'll hear a high-pitched metallic sound.

Set the control volume just before the point where you hear the sound.

Now press S1. You'll hear a metallic knocking sound. Press S1 a few times, and you'll notice the sound is like a hammering sound.
