Knitting - Basic Techniques

This is the method used for joining the center of a circular piece.

After the last round, cut the yarn, leaving a long tail.

Thread the tail on a yarn needle, pass the yarn through all the stitches, and pull snugly to close the hole.

Be careful to avoid twisting the stitches!
